The Week Before the Wedding: Self Care to Make You Look and Feel Gorgeous

The wedding is quickly approaching. All the guests have sent back their RSVPs, well the good ones anyway, all the vendors have been confirmed, and the final dress fitting is completed to perfection. There are only a few things left to do, but most importantly you want to make yourself look as stunning as possible. All eyes will be on the bride during the wedding, countless pictures taken, and memories created. Use the final week before your wedding to primp yourself to look and feel beautiful.

Face

Your face is the first thing your future husband will see when he lifts your veil if you chose one. Everyone at the wedding will be focused on your face, so make sure your skin looks glowing, youthful, and blemish-free. Facials, microdermabrasion, and chemical peels can all boost skin’s health and appearance. If a pimple makes an appearance treat it with benzoyl peroxide gel.

Smile

Happiness will bloom around you and your cheeks will hurt from smiling by the end of the night. Turn your smile from dull to bright with a good tooth whitening frankston. White teeth look amazing and can help boost your confidence.

Body

There is absolutely no reason to try to lose any weight the week before the wedding. In fact, if you do then your dress may not fit as snuggly because the final fitting was already completed. Just try to maintain your current weight by eating things in moderation.

A nice tan will accentuate the bridal white gown but is optional of course. You can get a spray tan in the shade you desire or use tanning sessions starting a month before the wedding. Another option is to have the face eyebrows, underarms, legs, or bikini area waxed. This is a bit painful, but the results last for a while and your future husband may truly appreciate the smooth results.

Hands and Feet

The night of the wedding you will be shaking hands and hugging so many people that your hands will be seen more than ever. Save getting a mani/pedi for the day of or the day before the wedding at the earliest. This will prevent chipping, fading, and maintain a freshly applied appearance. The polish color can match the colors of the wedding or be a traditional French manicure. Have fun with your selection; there are no rules about nails.

Planning a wedding is a very time-consuming activity, but the results are incredibly rewarding. The venue, food, music, and dress will be wonderful no matter what. Never forget that the most important part of the wedding is the love shared by the couple. Everything else is just the whipped cream and cherry on top. To look extra special for your husband some primping can help. Accentuating your face, smile, body, and hands can help the bride to feel more confident as she walks down the aisle to her intended. Enjoy every moment of your unforgettable bonding experience together.
