The face, neck, chest, back, shoulders, and arms have the sebaceous glands, which is why acne is the most common in these areas. Lets take a look at what plays a significant role in causing acne:

1) Diet: For years, scientists have claimed that acne and diet are not related to each other. However, recently there is evidence that says that diet can play a role in acne. New studies show that foods with a high glycemic index cause acne. These foods include; cakes, cookies, sodas, breads, etc. Eating these foods causes the body to release a hormone known as insulin to regulate that blood sugar.
