As long as you're mentioning SaaS products, you might as well include ours, the web's first Database-as-s-Service offering launched in 1999. Our main reason in building the product was to abstract the OS out of concern. The interface to our web-hosted databases is generic HTML that we generate automatically for customers to paste to pages on their business websites. Fast forward nearly 10 years, and our cloud software solution is still going strong.</description>
